Who the data controller is

What this site collects

This is a small static publication. We do not ask you to create an account, and there is no login, no comment system, and no newsletter sign-up.

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page, and browser user-agent. These logs exist for security and to keep the site running, and are retained only for as long as that purpose requires.
• The contact form. The form on our contact page is validated inside your browser and is not transmitted by the page itself. Nothing you type into it is stored by us.
• Web fonts. Page styling loads fonts from Google Fonts. Requesting those files reveals your IP address to Google as the file host. If you prefer to avoid this, browser extensions and content blockers can prevent third-party font loading.

What this site does not collect

• We do not run advertising networks or behavioural retargeting pixels on this site.
• We do not build visitor profiles and we do not sell or rent any visitor data.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Outbound advertising links

Pages on this site link to Copy Me That. Those links carry tracking parameters that let the advertiser attribute the visit to this website so any commission can be credited. The parameters identify the placement, not you personally.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Your browser may still store ordinary cache entries for the page, its stylesheet, and its images so repeat visits load faster; these can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.

Legal basis and retention

Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for processing server log data is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website. Log data is retained only for as long as needed for that purpose and is not combined with any other source to identify individual readers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Because we hold very little beyond routine server logs, most requests can be answered quickly. Send requests through our contact page or by post to the registered address above.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
